About the Role

You'll take the reins in shaping strategy and driving implementation for a team entering its next stage of growth. You'll work at the intersection of platform product development, financial operations, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the company can scale confidently within a regulated industry. You will guide the team's strategy, shape its culture, and deliver the internal and external product suite that powers settlement, reconciliation, reporting, returns, and billing. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Treasury, and Accounting across every product offered. This role is based in San Francisco and reports to the Senior Director of Product, Platform.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in financial technology, with at least 5 years as a Product Manager
  • Consistent track record of scaling and evangelizing successful platform products
  • Extensive background in payments infrastructure including settlement, reconciliation, returns, and billing processes, and the regulated clients who rely on these systems
  • Technical competence and understanding of data models, API contracts, and distributed systems
  • Ability to understand both business needs and technical requirements, and to work across a wide collaborator matrix including operations and finance functions
  • Motivated by intellectual challenges and driven by a spirit to win in the market

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of and advance the strategy, roadmap, and feature requirements for settlement and billing infrastructure
  • Define platform services that support the full product suite using deep understanding of technical, operational, and regulatory needs
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Treasury, and Accounting to define, build, and maintain products essential to customer trust, growth, and retention
  • Drive the transition from manual to automated workflows and set the bar for customer experience
  • Identify and evaluate world-class vendors to augment in-house capabilities where appropriate
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, using data to inform decisions and iterate quickly
