About the Role
You will review legal document requests, confirm their legitimacy and scope, gather responsive records from internal systems, and maintain complete request records in Kodex. You will coordinate with agencies and internal departments, meet deadlines, escalate sensitive issues, and help improve legal-request procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience at a crypto exchange, financial services company, law enforcement or regulatory liaison role, or as a paralegal, preferred
- Intermediate proficiency with MacOS, Microsoft applications, and Google applications
- Knowledge of U.S. or European court systems is a plus
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to gather and analyze data across multiple internal systems
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate subpoenas, court orders, and legal document requests
- Clarify request scope, format, and deadlines with serving agencies
- Research internal systems and compile responsive records
- Maintain detailed request and communication records in Kodex
- Coordinate with agencies and internal departments to meet deadlines
- Support legal-request processing projects and reporting
- Follow risk and regulatory standards and escalate risks
- Resolve questions related to legal document requests
- Escalate complex or sensitive issues
- Improve legal-request policies and processes
