About the Role
You conduct customer due diligence and ongoing reviews, perform enhanced due diligence for high-risk customers, investigate and escalate transaction-monitoring alerts, assess portfolio risks, support vendor and partner due diligence, participate in transaction-monitoring backtesting, and handle customer queries about identity verification and account reviews.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in customer support, KYC/CDD, or transaction monitoring in a regulated financial institution, fintech, or crypto firm
- Experience handling customer-facing KYC queries with clarity and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Latvian
Responsibilities
- Conduct customer due diligence and ongoing reviews across the customer lifecycle
- Perform enhanced due diligence for high-risk customers
- Investigate, document, and escalate suspicious transaction-monitoring activity to the MLRO where required
- Conduct periodic risk-based reviews of the customer portfolio
- Support financial-crime due diligence on third-party vendors and business partners
- Participate in annual backtesting of transaction-monitoring rules
- Handle customer queries related to identity verification, document requests, and account reviews
