About the Role

You will conduct client onboarding due diligence, verify identities and risk profiles, and escalate potential concerns. You will complete periodic reviews and ongoing name-screening investigations, maintain accurate records, collaborate on regulatory compliance, and help improve KYC procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar KYC role within the financial sector
  • Understanding of AML and KYC regulations and best practices
  • Knowledge of watchlists, sanctions lists, and name-screening tools
  • Understanding of risk assessment and mitigation principles
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

  • Conduct due diligence on new clients
  • Collect and review client information and documentation
  • Verify client identities and assess risk profiles
  • Identify and escalate business-relationship risks
  • Perform periodic reviews of client accounts
  • Conduct updated KYC checks
  • Determine client risk levels and take appropriate actions
  • Investigate and resolve name-screening hits
  • Implement due-diligence measures for true name hits
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes, watchlists, and sanctions lists
  • Maintain accurate KYC records
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Legal on regulatory adherence
  • Assist with enhanced KYC processes and procedures
