About the Role

You will review individual and business onboarding applications, verify identity and corporate documents, map ownership structures, and identify beneficial owners. You will conduct sanctions, PEP, and adverse-media screening; assess customer risk; perform enhanced due diligence; support monitoring alerts; liaise with customers; and improve onboarding procedures and verification-tool configurations.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in KYC/KYB, AML, onboarding, or compliance at a bank, fintech, or payments company
  • Understanding of AML/CFT principles
  • Interest in crypto payments, stablecoins, or cross-border finance
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Professional English

Responsibilities

  • Review identity documents, proof of address, and liveness checks
  • Approve, reject, or escalate individual onboarding applications
  • Verify corporate documents and map ownership structures
  • Identify ultimate beneficial owners and controllers
  • Conduct sanctions, PEP, and adverse-media screening
  • Investigate and resolve potential screening matches
  • Assign customer risk ratings and perform enhanced due diligence
  • Run periodic reviews and KYC refreshes
  • Support transaction-monitoring alert investigations
  • Request missing information from customers
  • Improve onboarding procedures, checklists, and verification-tool configurations
