About the Role
You will contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of multi-venue collateral management, reference data, and accounting systems. You will work on new and existing production code, integrations with trading venues, and distributed real-time systems while receiving guidance and participating in code reviews and technical discussions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Professional experience with Java or Kotlin
- Understanding of distributed systems concepts
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, testing, and version control
- Experience debugging and improving existing code and developing new functionality
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the multi-venue collateral management system supporting 24/7 trading activity
- Improve distributed, real-time, and event-driven systems and support their reliability and availability
- Build and maintain integrations with trading venues for account, position, collateral, and operational data
- Implement reference data frameworks and accounting pipelines for traditional financial instruments and digital assets
- Develop primarily in Java and Kotlin and participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Maintain, debug, and improve production code while developing new functionality
- Take ownership of well-defined tasks and promptly raise questions or blockers
- Work with experienced engineers to understand business requirements and deliver practical technical solutions
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality
