About the Role

You'll serve as a resource on the Implementations Team, guiding clients end-to-end through the onboarding process. You'll handle a diverse portfolio of projects and act as the single point of contact for these clients, ensuring a seamless migration of data and a superior client experience. From sale close through implementation and into continued customer success, you'll bring problem-solving, efficiency, and integrity while leveraging your subject-matter expertise to provide customers with a world-class onboarding experience. You'll collaborate closely with clients to collect historical data, align on timelines, and manage expectations, while working internally to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a role with a finance or accounting background
  • Strong accounting analysis with the ability to interpret a story through unstructured data
  • Committed to team and project success, emotionally intelligent in navigating relationships, transparent and forthright when communicating information
  • Proven internal influencer having implemented and successfully managed both small and large projects or initiatives with sustained, measurable success
  • Incredible organizational skills, high attention to detail, and an ability to complete competing priorities quickly and autonomously
  • Ability to communicate in both written and verbal formats in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Acumen in or knowledge of accounting with a specific focus in venture, hedge fund, and/or private equity (nice-to-have)
  • Familiarity as an end user with Carta or other financial dataset or accounting software programs (nice-to-have)

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal and external communications, delivering consistent updates on data collection progress, migration status, and data-related risks to all stakeholders
  • Lead the collection and organization of historical accounting data, operating agreements, subscription documents, and trial balances
  • Identify and flag relevant financial information from complex legal documents
  • Create balanced, accurate quarterly financial statements from unstructured client data
  • Track all data collection, validation, and delivery tasks in internal relevant systems
  • Maintain accurate system input and manage the formal handoff to the Fund Accounting team
  • Act as the first point of escalation for clients, performing de-escalation and root cause analysis on errors to implement solutions
