About the Role
You will own ChromeOS as a platform, including device standards, enrollment, policy, security controls, telemetry, and lifecycle management. You will automate configuration through policy APIs and infrastructure-as-code tools, support international vendor device programs, and help manage Android as a second platform.
Requirements
- Experience owning ChromeOS for fleets of thousands of devices
- Knowledge of Google Admin console and Chrome Enterprise
- Experience automating ChromeOS policy through Chrome Policy API or GAM
- Experience with kiosk, managed guest, or shared-device programs
- Experience with zero-touch enrollment and international device shipping
- Android device-management experience
- Python and shell scripting
- Google Admin SDK
- GitOps and CI
- Endpoint security fundamentals
Responsibilities
- Own ChromeOS platform standards, configuration, and policy
- Automate ChromeOS policy through the Chrome Policy API, GAM, and Terraform
- Build zero-touch Chromebook enrollment through resellers
- Coordinate international device purchasing and shipping
- Design device models for vendor teams
- Manage device lockdown controls and lifecycle operations
- Feed ChromeOS device data into fleet telemetry
- Partner with Security on hardware standards, access controls, and data-loss controls
- Support Android Enterprise and zero-touch enrollment
- Write operational runbooks for new vendor programs
