About the Role
You will support colleagues with hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues. You will set up laptops and user accounts, maintain workplace technology, and assist with cloud-based tools. You will help with onboarding, device management, updates, routine maintenance, ticket records, equipment records, and technical guides. You will also explore how AI, scripting, and automation can improve everyday IT support while completing structured learning toward a Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification.
Requirements
- A-Levels or an equivalent qualification.
- Interest in technology and how things work.
- Basic familiarity with computers and everyday software.
- Attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Clear communication skills.
- Confidence working with different people.
- Reliability, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
- Confidence to ask questions and take feedback.
- Experience with macOS, scripting, home technology projects, computer troubleshooting, or AI tools is helpful but not essential.
