About the Role
You will clear data usage requests, review agreements, record licensing terms, and maintain a central rights database. You will assess permitted AI uses, monitor compliance and provenance, administer licensing partnerships, and build AI-enabled workflows for contract review, obligation extraction, and renewals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law, publishing, information science, business, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in copyright, permissions, licensing, legal operations, or contract administration
- Working knowledge of EU and US copyright law and contract administration
- Ability to interpret contracts independently
- Project management skills
- Experience building agentic AI workflows
Responsibilities
- Clear inbound data usage requests and assess rights, obligations, and restrictions
- Review data-related agreements and codify terms into structured metadata
- Assess whether AI use cases fall within third-party agreement scopes
- Maintain a central database of signed data-related agreements
- Track compliance with permitted uses, confidentiality, and reuse rights
- Verify data provenance, ownership, and consent
- Monitor client and partner compliance with granted rights
- Design AI-powered workflows for contract review, obligation extraction, and renewal alerts
