About the Role

You will manage investor lifecycle operations from onboarding through distribution payments, maintaining a compliant and smooth investor experience. You will oversee external KYC/AML providers, ensure German and Luxembourgish regulatory compliance, resolve complex investor cases, support payments and reconciliations, improve automated workflows, and maintain audit trails while escalating suspicious activity.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of full-time experience in AML/KYC or operations within financial services or fintech.
• Understanding of AML/KYC frameworks, including FATF and EU AML Directives.
• Ability to interpret German GwG and Luxembourgish CSSF requirements.
• Comfort working with structured data and tools such as HubSpot and ComplyAdvantage.
• Eligibility to live and work in Berlin.

Responsibilities

• Oversee external Luxembourgish KYC/AML service providers and hold them accountable for quality and speed.
• Ensure investor onboarding complies with CSSF, BaFin, and GwG standards.
• Resolve complex investor structures using compliant documentation solutions.
• Identify onboarding bottlenecks and implement automated solutions with Product teams.
• Oversee MiFID II appropriateness testing and professionalisation checks.
• Resolve investor queries concerning legal entities and high-net-worth onboarding.
• Support distribution execution and reconcile investor-level capital calls.
• Automate document collection and streamline payment workflows with Product and Tech teams.
• Maintain investor-level audit trails aligned with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor account activity and escalate suspicious or high-risk cases to Compliance.
