About the Role

You will conduct investigations into transaction-monitoring alerts and internal referrals, determine reporting obligations, and prepare accurate SAR and UAR filings. You will support sanctions, PEP, KYC, and EDD workflows; perform peer reviews; improve AML systems, rules, automation, and procedures; respond to partner, audit, and regulatory requests; and handle internal compliance escalations.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in compliance advisory or operations teams
• At least 2 years of AML investigator experience in a 1LOD or 2LOD operations team
• Experience drafting and filing SARs and UARs
• Familiarity with sanctions, EDD, KYC, KYB, and financial-crimes compliance
• Fintech experience
• Ability to manage multiple fast-changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition transaction-monitoring alert escalations and internal referrals
• Conduct investigations and determine reporting obligations
• Draft and file Suspicious Activity Reports and Unusual Activity Reports
• Support sanctions, PEP, KYC, and EDD workflows
• Perform secondary peer reviews
• Optimize AML systems and tooling through rule tuning, automation, and testing
• Update workflows, simplify processes, and maintain procedures and training materials
• Support bank partner requests, audits, and regulatory reporting obligations
• Triage and respond to internal compliance escalations
