About the Role
You will write software, including tools, libraries, automation, and services. You will design and build an infrastructure platform, implement and evaluate new technologies, and improve or retire existing features. You will operate developer-experience and production environments, diagnose distributed systems, perform maintenance and migrations, reduce repetitive work and alert noise, and support development teams with interfaces, tools, and best practices. You will participate in an on-call rotation and communicate through documentation, meetings, and demos.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent software engineering experience.
- Ability to write software using Java.
- Working knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience creating stable, reliable, performant, and maintainable code.
- Familiarity with data modeling and schema design.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Preferred working knowledge of Linux systems administration, system-level troubleshooting, L3-L7 networking, and basic monitoring.
- Preferred experience operating, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
- Preferred understanding of SaaS software development practices.
Responsibilities
