About the Role
You will lead marketing strategy, segmentation, campaign development, and product marketing for the intermediary distribution channel. You will create targeted content and integrated marketing plans for advisors, gatekeepers, and financial institutions, using data and research to improve personalization, engagement, and results. You will partner with distribution, product, investment, sales, client service, and marketing stakeholders to develop thought leadership, market updates, messaging, media support, and digital content. You will prioritize and execute campaigns quickly while maintaining quality and consistency, communicate progress and solutions, and independently recommend marketing improvements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of financial services experience, ideally in asset management
- Experience in intermediary distribution channel marketing
- Experience marketing investment products including ETFs, SMAs, mutual funds, and private credit
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong writing and ability to synthesize complex topics
- Proven ability to drive engagement and adoption of investment products
- Digital communications and marketing tool knowledge
- Knowledge of investment products, capital markets, and macroeconomic topics
- Experience writing and editing product promotions and white papers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt messaging for specific audiences and formats
Responsibilities
- Develop marketing strategy and tactics for engaging intermediary clients and prospects with measurable outcomes
- Create compelling campaigns and differentiated content for the intermediary distribution channel
- Increase brand awareness and engagement
- Promote products and solutions to improve adoption of investment capabilities
- Rapidly develop, prioritize, and execute campaigns and content in response to product, market, and distribution needs
- Maintain quality and consistency while improving speed to market
- Engage and align with intermediary distribution team leadership
- Collaborate with investment, sales, client service, product, distribution, and marketing stakeholders to create thought leadership and value-add programs
- Develop frequent product and market updates and insights
- Write content that drives digital engagement
- Create targeted messaging and thought leadership outreach for intermediary audiences
- Provide insight and support for intermediary media programs
- Use data, metrics, and research to improve engagement, targeting, and content personalization
- Recommend and implement marketing solutions independently
- Communicate progress, issues, and solutions
