About the Role

You will investigate high-impact integration issues, write and deploy tested code, and monitor production systems for regressions. You will assess customer impact, prioritize issues, work directly with external data partners, apply mitigation techniques, review code, manage escalations, maintain the issue backlog, improve processes and tooling, occasionally build new integrations, and participate in an integrations on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • 1.5+ years of experience in a highly technical role
  • Experience developing web services and APIs or clients and integrations
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Customer-first problem-solving approach
  • Analytical and data-oriented problem-solving skills
  • SQL or similar data analysis experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to improve processes and increase efficiency
  • Experience resolving high volumes of technical issues
  • Familiarity or experience with TypeScript NodeJS SQL or Golang

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve high-impact integration issues
  • Write maintainable tested code and deploy it to production
  • Monitor production changes for regressions and degradation
  • Prioritize issues by customer impact
  • Scope the impact of individual issues
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with external data partners
  • Apply internal and external mitigation techniques
  • Review code and own the integrations codebase
  • Handle internal escalations
  • Meet best-effort SLAs for business-critical issues
  • Triage and audit the integrations issue backlog
  • Improve team processes and tooling
  • Build new financial institution or platform integrations
  • Participate in the integrations on-call rotation
