About the Role

Provide campus-level leadership for Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems across mission-critical facilities. Lead controls architecture, develop standards, review designs, evaluate requirements and deviations, optimize systems, support clients, and mentor engineers and technicians.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Instrumentation and Controls
  • Experience with Building Automation or Management Systems and Power Monitoring or SCADA systems
  • Experience in data centers or large-scale industrial facilities
  • Understanding of MEP documentation and building engineering drawings
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering or equivalent extensive field experience
  • Expertise with major controls platforms
  • Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ignition SCADA Perspective
  • Ability to make independent professional decisions
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Client-facing communication experience
  • Ignition and Rockwell automation experience is preferred
  • MQTT-based Unified Namespace architecture experience is preferred
  • Mission-critical industry experience is preferred
  • L3 to L5 commissioning experience is preferred
  • Maintenance or facility operations experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead controls architecture and execution for tenant programs
  • Develop and maintain enterprise control standards
  • Review internal and external design deliverables
  • Provide technical support to other departments
  • Evaluate tenant requirements against established standards
  • Drive impact evaluations for project deviations
  • Optimize control system capabilities and requirements
  • Serve as the primary technical client contact
  • Manage and develop engineers and technicians through on-the-job training
