About the Role
You will monitor, triage, and resolve Level 2 incidents in Linux and OpenStack environments. You will support compute, networking, and virtualization systems, work rotating regional coverage, maintain technical runbooks, and coordinate escalations with Senior Engineers and EMEA tooling developers.
Requirements
- Commercial Linux or Unix systems administration experience
- Production or large-scale staging OpenStack experience
- Experience with hypervisors and virtualization technologies
- Incident investigation, performance analysis, and root-cause analysis skills
- English communication and technical writing skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor, triage, and resolve Level 2 incidents in Unix/Linux and OpenStack environments
- Support compute, networking, and virtualization layers
- Support OpenStack Neutron and OpenStack Ironic
- Provide rotating follow-the-sun operational coverage
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures and technical runbooks
- Coordinate escalations with US Senior Engineers and EMEA tooling developers
