About the Role
You will manage infrastructure installations and upgrades, monitor power, cooling, and connectivity, and maintain reliable data center operations. You will resolve escalated support issues and incidents, automate processes, support capacity planning, provide on-call coverage, and travel to other data centers when required.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data center environments
- Expertise in server administration, virtualization, and networking protocols
- Experience with Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or similar automation tools
- Hands-on server experience
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Advanced technical certifications
- Ability to make decisions in ambiguous results-driven environments
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build senior relationships
- Customer service experience
Responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure installations and upgrades
- Support deployments and operational tasks at other data centers
- Monitor power, cooling, and network connectivity
- Maintain data center infrastructure
- Respond to critical incidents and participate in on-call coverage
- Handle escalated customer support issues against SLA requirements
- Investigate major incidents and recommend long-term fixes
- Design and implement automation scripts and tools
- Collaborate on capacity planning and infrastructure optimization
- Travel to other data centers to support business needs
