About the Role

You will oversee and support virtualisation, storage, and backup systems. You will maintain infrastructure software, monitor vulnerabilities, apply patches and firmware upgrades, troubleshoot complex issues, automate operational tasks, and document technical procedures. You will also act as an escalation point for critical production incidents and help minimise recurring issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience across virtualisation, backup, and storage.
• Experience in mid- to large-enterprise environments with thousands of servers.
• Knowledge of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
• Ability to deploy and manage Nutanix HCI clusters, including AOS, AHV, and Prism Central or Element.
• Experience performing upgrades, patching, migrations, and lifecycle management.
• General infrastructure knowledge, including networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex compute, storage, networking, and virtualisation issues.
• Ability to automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
