About the Role
You evolve and scale the OpenStack platform across compute, networking, and provisioning. You troubleshoot OpenStack and storage issues, build automation and tooling, document operations, support engineering teams, and participate in an on-call rotation to maintain platform reliability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an Infrastructure, Platform, DevOps, or Software Engineer
- Experience with OpenStack private cloud or Ceph networked storage
- Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals
- Strong Linux systems knowledge
- Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and PKI
- Ability to use AI tools and agents such as Claude and OpenAI
- Scripting or programming experience in Python, Bash, Go, or similar
Responsibilities
- Operate OpenStack compute, networking, and provisioning platforms
- Learn and troubleshoot Ceph storage systems
- Handle feature requests and support tickets
- Troubleshoot complex full-stack issues
- Build automation and tooling
- Contribute to documentation and runbooks
- Participate in on-call rotation
