About the Role

You will assist with the design, implementation, testing, and support of controls technologies for automated warehouse systems. You will help develop PLC hardware and software, diagnose system issues, execute testing plans, support electrical troubleshooting, and assist with installation and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Pursue a Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical field
• Demonstrate familiarity with PLCs, controls, industrial automation, or electromechanical systems
• Read or trace electrical circuits
• Demonstrate interest in motors, wiring, power systems, and VFDs
• Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, implementation, testing, and support of controls technologies
• Contribute to PLC hardware and software design and implementation
• Diagnose PLC system issues with site operators and engineering teams
• Develop and execute PLC system testing plans
• Participate in code reviews and follow PLC programming best practices
• Support electrical design and troubleshooting for circuits, motors, wiring, power distribution, and VFDs
• Assist with site installation, commissioning, implementation, and support
• Contribute to software tools for data generation, validation, simulation, and rendering
