About the Role
You will run the end-to-end incident-management program and serve as incident commander during security events. You will establish response processes and rotations, track remediation, analyze trends, lead reviews, maintain playbooks and training, improve detection quality, and drive preventive improvements across functions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of technical program management, incident management, or security operations experience
- Experience leading or building incident-response programs
- Experience driving systemic improvements from incident data
- Ability to participate in on-call responsibilities and lead high-severity incident response
- Experience building and scaling operational processes
- Experience with incident trend analysis, metrics reporting, and data-driven prioritization
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end incident-management program
- Serve as incident commander for security incidents
- Establish and run incident-commander rotations
- Define and track post-incident action items
- Gather, analyze, and report incident trends and patterns
- Drive cross-functional systemic fixes and preventive improvements
- Lead post-mortems and retrospectives
- Maintain incident-response documentation, playbooks, runbooks, and training materials
- Partner with detection engineering to improve alert fidelity and time to detection
- Define and report incident-management KPIs
- Support security-awareness training and tabletop exercises
