About the Role

You will design and rebuild an organizational structure that can support a future IPO and continued growth. You will define departmental roles, optimize staffing, and support long-term hiring and organizational strategies. You will mentor managers, improve management practices, support performance and compensation processes, advise executives on people issues, and report organizational challenges and improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience in strategic planning and workforce planning at a startup or venture company.
  • Experience designing and operating organizational charts.
  • Experience developing managers and promoting subordinates.
  • Experience revising internal regulations.
  • Knowledge of building systems that can withstand labor and organizational reviews during IPO preparation.
  • Knowledge of or interest in FinTech, Web3, blockchain, or regulated new businesses.
  • Experience providing organizational consulting or management support to other companies as a contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Design and rebuild an organizational chart and structure that supports an IPO and future growth.
  • Define departmental roles and recommend optimized staffing.
  • Support medium- to long-term hiring plans and organizational strategy.
  • Translate executive principles and business strategy for managers.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings and mentoring for current and prospective managers.
  • Establish management practices for goal setting, progress management, and employee development.
  • Identify and improve issues in the operation of the existing performance evaluation system.
  • Build processes that fairly evaluate high-performing employees and increase motivation.
  • Advise executives on real-time organizational and human-resources issues.
  • Identify organizational issues using quantitative and logical data and report them to executives.
  • Develop a proposed new organizational chart and staffing plan aligned with the medium-term management plan.
  • Build and deliver a manager development program or mentoring structure.
  • Report organizational issue progress and propose improvements in regular meetings.
