About the Role

You will ensure that all HR-related documents such as employment contracts, amendments, work certificates, and attestations are prepared accurately and signed by the relevant stakeholders. You will support the pre-onboarding process by communicating with selected candidates and collecting required documents. You will maintain accurate physical and digital employee records, assist the payroll department with employee information, and liaise with external partners like the Social Security Administration. You will stay updated on HR laws and best practices, help draft and update HR policies and procedures, guide employees on HR matters, answer their queries, and participate in HR projects. You will work from the Abidjan office and may travel to upcountry locations.

Requirements

  • University degree, associate degree, or professional training in HR
  • Attention to detail and good grammar proficiency
  • Excellent writing and listening skills
  • Very good command of written and spoken French and good knowledge of English
  • Computer proficiency and ability to operate Microsoft Office packages
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Work authorization in Côte d'Ivoire

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review HR-related documents such as employment contracts, promotions, amendments, and work certificates
  • Support the pre-onboarding process by communicating with selected candidates and collecting required documents
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date physical and digital records of employee information
  • Assist the payroll department by providing relevant employee information
  • Liaise with external partners like the Social Security Administration for maternity and work accidents
  • Stay updated on HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance
  • Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies, including maintaining employee handbooks
  • Guide employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters
  • Answer employees' queries about HR-related issues
  • Participate in HR projects
