About the Role
You will get hands-on experience in the full spectrum of HR operations, from talent acquisition in the high-growth tech sector to ensuring our practices align with the Malaysia Employment Act 1955 (Amendment 2022). You will assist in end-to-end recruitment by posting job ads on platforms like LinkedIn, Jobstreet, and AJobThing, screen resumes for technical and non-technical roles, and coordinate interviews while managing the candidate pipeline via the applicant tracking system. You will also assist in onboarding new hires, maintain and update company and employee digital records in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010, and support tracking of leave records in accordance with Employment Act entitlements. On top of that, you will help coordinate company events and employee engagement initiatives, assist in company-wide communications, and gather feedback from the team to help improve the workplace environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Internship period of 4 months and above
- Strong command of English & Mandarin is a must; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage
- Ability to handle confidential information with high integrity
- A can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to support recruitment and HR initiatives
- Tech-savvy with a keen interest in Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, or the Fintech ecosystem is a plus
