About the Role
You'll help implement Wave's new HRIS and scale the people technology infrastructure. You'll act as a bridge between the People team's needs and technical capabilities, configuring systems to handle the complexity of multi-country operations, different regulatory environments, and varying local requirements. You'll support the HRIS migration by building deep knowledge of existing processes and data sources, ensuring continuity during the transition, and configuring workflows for compliance. You'll provide core HR systems support by implementing and adapting workflows, rolling out an internal service desk, recommending automation improvements, supporting system migrations and integrations, overseeing upgrades and testing, training end-users, and troubleshooting issues. You'll drive HR data management and reporting quality by managing stakeholder relationships, replicating data quality standards across systems, expanding into strategic dashboards, and managing data privacy compliance. You'll also uphold compliance and risk management by monitoring HR data regulations and maintaining system documentation.
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience administering HRIS platforms in an organization with 5,000+ employees
- Experience managing HR systems across modules including Talent Management, HCM, Compensation and L&D
- Experience with Workday strongly preferred
- Experience and understanding of HR processes including payroll, benefits, performance management, talent operations and acquisition, learning & development
- Experience with end-to-end HRIS implementations, upgrades, and integrations
- Proficiency in HRIS configuration, workflows, and reporting tools
- Advanced knowledge of data management, analytics, and reporting
- Experience with Business Intelligence systems like PowerBI or Looker
- Understanding of system integrations using APIs, middleware, or other tools
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
Responsibilities
- Support the HRIS migration including system configuration and data migration
- Build in-depth knowledge of existing processes and data sources
- Configure and customize pre-mapped processes and workflows within the new HRIS
- Implement new systems and workflows or adapt existing ones
- Help roll out and scale an internal service desk
- Track adherence to and identify deviation from established processes and policies
- Analyze HR systems workflows and setups to recommend improvements
- Support system migrations and integrations in Talent Management Workforce Management and Payroll systems
- Oversee system upgrades patches and testing
- Train HR team members and end-users on HRIS functionalities and updates
- Act as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting system issues
- Manage stakeholder relationships across HR Talent and Payroll teams for data quality projects
- Replicate data quality projects across all HR systems
- Conduct audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies
- Expand data quality projects into strategic dashboards and reporting
- Manage data privacy and compliance with GDPR CCPA or other applicable regulations
- Monitor and enforce compliance with local state and international HR data regulations
- Maintain documentation for system configurations processes and troubleshooting guides
