About the Role
You will be a senior individual contributor who leads through expertise and inspiration rather than hierarchy. Embedded in the HR Operations team, you will coach colleagues in Lean thinking, run improvement and automation projects, and equip the team with the tools and mindset to continuously raise the bar. You will work closely with IT and global stakeholders to deliver technically sound, scalable change, own SOPs and process documentation, run ideation sessions, identify automation opportunities including RPA and AI-enabled solutions, manage multiple projects concurrently, and build trusted relationships across HR, IT and the business to influence change without relying on direct authority.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree and fluent English essential, Polish is an advantage
- Experience delivering technical and system projects in HR such as HRIS, RPA or workflow automation
- Comfortable translating business needs into IT requirements
- Familiarity with HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, ServiceNow and automation tools
- Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies and embedding them in organisations
- Formal continuous improvement certification is a bonus but not required
- Track record in project management, process improvement, operational excellence or HR transformation
- Natural communicator and coach able to inspire, facilitate and build trust at all levels without line authority
- Solutions-focused, resilient and comfortable creating clarity in ambiguous environments
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end improvement initiatives using continuous improvement methodologies, mapping processes, finding waste and delivering measurable results
- Create and own SOPs, process maps and RACI matrices that make HR operations consistent, audit-ready and easy to follow
- Run ideation sessions with the HR Ops team and build a pipeline of continuous improvement ideas
- Support the onboarding of new processes into HR Services ensuring they are well-documented and reviewed for improvement opportunities
- Identify and lead automation opportunities such as RPA workflow tools and AI-enabled solutions
- Translate HR needs into functional specs and work with IT to deliver automation solutions
- Evaluate and pilot new HR technology and stay ahead of AI and digital trends
- Manage multiple improvement and technology projects concurrently including plans risks milestones and stakeholder updates
- Coordinate across HR SSC, COEs, IT and vendors to keep delivery on track without direct line authority
- Build trusted relationships across HR IT and the business to influence and drive change
- Liaise with global and regional HR teams to align process changes and share best practice
- Ensure all processes and documentation are GDPR-compliant, audit-ready and kept current
- Design and deliver practical Lean training and workshops for HR Operations colleagues at all levels
- Build a network of process champions who sustain improvement momentum independently
