You maintain cleanliness in residents’ apartments and common areas. You provide housekeeping services, clean and sanitize spaces, handle cleaning chemicals safely, organize storage areas, report maintenance and safety issues, attend scheduled training, and follow applicable regulations and policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous cleaning experience
- Ability to be dependable and responsible
- Ability to communicate with residents
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Provide housekeeping services in resident apartments
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, clean bathrooms, empty trash, and launder linens
- Keep common areas clean and sanitized
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals according to OSHA regulations
- Keep housekeeping storage areas clean and organized
- Report maintenance issues to the Maintenance Director
- Report safety issues immediately
- Attend scheduled in-service training
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and community policies
