About the Role
You will develop, implement, and maintain occupational health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and compliance programs. You will conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations, and you will implement corrective actions where needed. You'll ensure the workplace complies with the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, OSHA principles, and applicable international HSE standards. You'll organize employee HSE training, emergency preparedness drills, fire safety activities, and awareness programs. You will maintain HSE documentation, reports, and audit records, and coordinate with regulatory authorities, contractors, and internal stakeholders. You'll help promote a strong workplace safety culture and continuously improve health, safety, and environmental management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Safety, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in occupational health and safety management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Azerbaijani labor legislation, occupational safety regulations, and OSHA/international HSE standards
- Experience conducting risk assessments, workplace inspections, incident investigations, and safety audits
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage risks and corrective actions
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English; Russian and relevant HSE certifications are considered an advantage
Responsibilities
