About the Role
You will design the end-to-end US derivatives trading architecture and make strategic decisions about clearing FCMs OMS platforms market access providers and connectivity models. You will lead integrations exchange certification risk controls monitoring incident response disaster recovery vendor diligence and delivery while building and leading the US trading technology function.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in electronic trading or capital-markets technology
- Deep knowledge of listed derivatives and US futures market structure
- Experience with OMS FIX exchange connectivity market data and pre-trade risk
- Prior experience working at an FCM
- Understanding of the complete execution clearing and settlement lifecycle
- Track record delivering mission-critical trading platforms
- Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical architecture
- Strong leadership across engineering product risk compliance and operations
Responsibilities
- Design the end-to-end US derivatives trading architecture
- Select clearing FCM OMS and market access providers
- Decide between vendor-provided direct-exchange and hybrid connectivity
- Define the long-term build-versus-buy roadmap
- Lead integrations across OMS margin liquidation funding UI and KYC
- Lead exchange connectivity certification and production readiness
- Define pre-trade risk kill-switch drop-copy and reconciliation requirements
- Establish 24/7 monitoring incident response and disaster recovery
- Own vendor technical diligence contracts SLAs and delivery
- Recruit and lead the US trading technology team
