About the Role
You will lead the development and execution of compliance frameworks for confidential tokens. You will blend regulatory expertise with technical fluency in blockchain to define governance risk controls and reporting processes. You will engage with regulators and authorities, assess policy implications, and guide external issuers toward compliant adoption. You will ensure privacy preserving approaches align with applicable regulations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in compliance legal or risk management in blockchain digital assets or financial services
- Expertise in blockchain regulation including EU and US frameworks for digital assets and privacy preserving technologies
- Deep understanding of AML/CFT controls and blockchain licensing requirements
- Prior experience in centralized exchange compliance or digital asset trading platform oversight
- Strong leadership and cross departmental collaboration skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication and policy drafting capabilities
- Advanced degree in Compliance Law or related field
- Experience with privacy enhancing and confidential transaction systems is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and lead compliance frameworks for confidential tokens
- Implement governance and reporting structures aligned with regulations and privacy requirements
- Lead regulatory engagement and reporting to regulators and authorities
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate regulatory safeguards into token standards and smart contract logic
- Advise external issuers and centralized entities on developing and maintaining compliant frameworks
- Monitor regulatory developments for privacy preserving technologies and assess their impact on digital assets
