About the Role

You will define and operationalise product and identity security strategy, roadmap, and metrics. You will lead a global team while remaining hands-on across application, cloud, AI, architecture, identity, penetration testing, and vulnerability operations. You will embed security into products, manage security incidents and external partners, and communicate risk and investment priorities to executives and engineering leaders.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of cybersecurity experience
  • At least 5 years in a comparable leadership role

Responsibilities

  • Define and operationalise product and identity security strategy and roadmap
  • Lead, coach, and grow a global security team
  • Own application security, including secure design reviews, threat modelling, secure coding standards, tooling, and remediation
  • Run web, mobile, and infrastructure penetration testing
  • Own cloud security posture, workload protection, detection coverage, and engineering guardrails
  • Set the approach to AI, agentic, and machine-learning security
  • Embed security requirements in product, platform, and integration architecture
  • Own the identity platform and IAM roadmap
  • Run vulnerability operations with triage and remediation service levels
  • Communicate security risk, trade-offs, and investment cases to leaders
  • Deliver security enablement and security champions programmes
  • Act as an escalation point during high-severity security incidents
  • Recruit, onboard, mentor, and manage team performance
  • Define and report programme metrics
