About the Role

You will lead the bank’s operational functions, including payment processing, treasury operations, reconciliations, card operations, business operations, and back-office activities. You will develop and execute an operational strategy focused on scalability, efficiency, quality, control, and regulatory compliance. You will map, optimize, automate, document, and standardize key processes. You will use data and AI to support intelligent automation. You will lead and develop operations staff, plan resources, manage operational risks and controls, support audits, and collaborate with internal departments. You will also own end-to-end Bitcoin and crypto settlement operations, including on-chain reconciliation, wallet management, custody controls, and crypto-fiat bridging processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in a regulated financial services environment
• Experience leading and scaling Payments, Treasury, and Business Operations
• Expertise in process improvement methodologies, automation, and operational change
• Understanding of financial-institution regulations, AML, and financial crime prevention
• Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate business goals into an operational roadmap

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an operational strategy aligned with business goals, scalability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
• Oversee payment processing, treasury operations, reconciliations, and back-office duties
• Own operational performance and ensure processes meet quality and control standards
• Lead process mapping, optimization, and automation
• Design, document, and implement standardized operating procedures
• Use data and AI to drive intelligent automation
• Lead, mentor, and develop operations staff
• Manage resource allocation and workforce planning
• Ensure operational processes comply with financial regulations and internal policies
• Design and implement operational risk controls, monitoring, and reporting
• Serve as the key contact for operations-related internal and external audits
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure operational integration and alignment
• Ensure back-end operations support the client experience
• Own Bitcoin and crypto settlement operations, including on-chain reconciliation, wallet management, and custody controls
• Build scalable crypto-fiat bridging processes
