About the Role

You will lead, design and continuously improve core operational processes. You will build structure where needed, streamline processes, and translate business objectives into operational execution. You will ensure data accuracy and integrity, oversee reconciliations and reporting, identify and mitigate operational risks, manage cross-functional projects, mentor and grow operational capability, and act as the escalation point for complex operational issues while working closely with product, finance, legal and technology stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience leading an operations function in a fast-growing or scaling business environment
  • Significant experience in an operations, finance or related role with proven ownership of processes and outcomes
  • Ability to manage complexity, prioritise effectively and deliver against deadlines
  • High attention to detail balanced with strategic thinking
  • Comfortable working hands-on and leading by example
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Self-directed, solutions-focused and results driven
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Experience with financial products or real-world assets (nice to have)
  • Interest in fintech and tokenization (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee day-to-day running of core operational processes
  • Design, implement and continuously improve scalable operational workflows, controls and documentation
  • Act as strategic partner to the COO and C-suite, translating business objectives into operational execution
  • Lead operational planning and prioritisation to support a rapidly growing organisation
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity of operational data, including overseeing reconciliations, validations and reporting
  • Identify operational risks and inefficiencies and design solutions to mitigate or resolve them
  • Manage and deliver cross-functional operational projects and initiatives
  • Build, develop and mentor operational capability within the team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across product, finance, legal and technology to integrate processes
  • Develop and maintain understanding of products, regulatory environment, rules, procedures and internal controls
  • Act as point of escalation for complex operational issues and drive them to resolution
