About the Role

You will own senior institutional coverage across Asia Pacific, spanning sovereign and state linked investors, pensions, insurers, asset managers, funds of funds and family offices, alongside gaming, technology and media strategics across Korea, Japan and Greater China. You will own the coverage map, the relationships and the regional plan, operating with a global reporting line. You will establish coverage standards, relationship infrastructure and the regional plan, lead regional fundraising within each jurisdiction's private placement regimes, and manage institutional diligence processes end to end. You will build the firm's presence across priority investment and gaming industry forums, develop the 2027 regional coverage plan, and ensure all regional marketing activity complies with applicable regulatory regimes in coordination with counsel.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in APAC institutional coverage, capital formation, investment banking or investor relations
  • Demonstrable relationships across Singapore's institutional community and at least one of the Korean, Japanese or Greater China markets
  • Working knowledge of regional fund marketing and private placement practice including Singapore's institutional and accredited investor frameworks
  • Experience marketing alternative strategies such as credit, special situations or private equity to Asian institutions preferred
  • Experience operating under the Monetary Authority of Singapore regulatory framework preferred
  • Proven ability to operate independently on a global platform with disciplined pipeline management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; professional fluency in Mandarin, Japanese or Korean preferred
  • High degree of ethics and integrity with a clean regulatory and disciplinary history
  • Bachelor's degree required; CFA or CAIA charter strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own senior coverage of APAC institutional capital including sovereign and state linked investors, pensions, insurers, asset managers, funds of funds and family offices
  • Build dedicated coverage of gaming, technology and media strategics across Korea, Japan and Greater China
  • Map each priority institution's decision architecture including mandate criteria, allocation cadence and approval process
  • Lead regional pre-marketing and fundraising support for the firm's investment vehicles
  • Originate and manage institutional diligence processes end to end including DDQ coordination and data room support
  • Support cross border financing and strategic transaction conversations
  • Build the firm's presence across the region's priority investment and gaming industry forums and run the APAC events calendar
  • Develop the 2027 regional coverage plan including market prioritization and regional hiring sequence
  • Establish coverage and CRM standards for the region and enforce interaction logging discipline
  • Ensure regional marketing and offering activity complies with applicable regulatory regimes
  • Maintain counterparty awareness including KYC, AML and sanctions screening coordination
