About the Role

You will manage banking and lending solutions for professional clients, provide personalized financial advice, open accounts, support investments and credit products, evaluate borrowing needs, approve loans within authorized limits, monitor client financial status, and identify opportunities to deepen relationships.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of banking experience
  • At least 3 years of business or retail banking experience with professional clients
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and business development skills
  • University degree or college diploma
  • Industry courses such as CSC, PFP, or CFP are an asset
  • Knowledge of banking products, services, processes, and policies
  • Knowledge of retail lending and regulatory compliance
  • Knowledge of AML, KYC, FCAC, CDIC, and MFDA requirements

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service and advice during client interactions
  • Develop knowledge of bank products, services, processes, and policies
  • Respond quickly and resourcefully to client requests
  • Analyze client financial goals and needs
  • Recommend customized banking and lending solutions
  • Manage account opening, investments, credit cards, lines of credit, and mortgages
  • Identify relationship expansion and referral opportunities
  • Evaluate banking and borrowing needs
  • Grant loans within authorized limits
  • Administer online loans and overdraft facilities
  • Monitor client financial status and escalate unfavorable trends
  • Escalate fraudulent activities and unusual occurrences
  • Follow lending, security, privacy, and compliance procedures
