About the Role
You will close the gap between AI company insiders and the guidance and support network available to them. You will run outreach, education, referral, and partner activities; build trusted relationships and intelligence systems; test and measure growth initiatives; and develop channels that connect insiders to the right support. At Head level, you will also hire and manage the function, oversee a significant budget, and manage concurrent projects and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Track record of independently owning complex, multi-stakeholder projects or programs from conception through delivery
- Experience setting goals, sequencing work, managing budgets and timelines, and meeting targets with limited oversight
- Experience recruiting, managing, and retaining collaborators, contractors, employees, or partners
- Experience scaling high- and low-touch growth motions in complex environments
- Experience building and growing communities, audiences, or customer bases
- Ability to build scalable outreach systems, including network and spending management
- Experimentation-driven approach to testing, measurement, and iteration
- Ability to develop strategy from a blank page and turn it into an activity portfolio
- Strong interest in AI safety; experience in or close to the AI safety community is strongly preferred
- Strong written communication skills
- Interest in rapidly learning whistleblowing, legal, and security domains
Responsibilities
- Build and manage outreach channels, including events, online campaigns, and referral motions
- Deliver educational material to frontier AI company employees in multiple formats
- Map, prioritize, and develop opportunities for education delivery and relationship-building
- Build and maintain live intelligence solutions with technical support
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists and develop offerings for their sources
- Explore alternative referral and intake channels, including employment attorneys
- Enable partners through joint content, campaigns, and events
- Identify target audiences and education barriers, set delivery goals, develop campaign strategy, and measure results
- Hire, manage, and grow the Growth and Education Delivery team at Head level
- Manage budgets, concurrent projects, and external stakeholders at Head level
