About the Role

You will lead global finance operations, including accounting, reporting, month-end close, financial controls, regulatory reporting, and audits. You will evaluate financial implications of products, markets, licenses, and investments; manage external financial relationships; standardize global policies and reporting; and lead finance professionals across jurisdictions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Technical foundation in IFRS and US GAAP
  • CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent certification
  • 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
  • Understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset accounting
  • Expertise in global financial regulations, including NYDFS, MAS, VARA, MiCA, and FCA
  • Experience with financial systems such as Oracle NetSuite and automation tools
  • Experience managing multi-currency operations and intercompany transactions
  • Ability to lead teams across multiple jurisdictions and time zones

Responsibilities

  • Lead global finance operations, including accounting, reporting, month-end close, financial controls, regulatory reporting, and local audits
  • Partner with regional C-suite leaders on business strategy, listings, infrastructure investment, and M&A
  • Evaluate unit economics, capital requirements, tax and regulatory costs, and downside cases for new products, markets, and licenses
  • Build internal control, SOX-readiness, audit, and regulatory-risk frameworks across crypto and fiat operations
  • Manage relationships with regulators, banking partners, and payment providers
  • Standardize global finance policies, reporting architecture, close, and consolidation processes
  • Participate in global and local leadership committees, boards, and governance bodies
  • Maintain knowledge of regional financial regulations and cryptocurrency market developments
