About the Role
You will serve as the CEO's strategic partner and lead the Finance function. You will own financial planning, forecasting, and board/investor reporting; drive strategic analysis on partnerships, pricing, market opportunities, and M&A; build the analytical foundation for unit economics and cohort performance; and hire, develop, and coach a small finance team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or related roles
- Experience at a high-growth SaaS or tech company ($30M-$200M revenue scale)
- Strong analytical and modeling skills
- Excellent executive communication; board-ready
- Experience managing a small team
- Proactive strategic thinker who brings insights without being asked
- Comfortable with ambiguity and structuring messy problems
- Demonstrated ability to drive outsized business impact
- Strong personal conviction in crypto (mission alignment)
- IB/PE background followed by operating experience (nice to have)
- Experience at a crypto company or meaningful personal involvement in crypto (nice to have)
- Background in consumer subscription or B2B SaaS (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO on company strategy, capital allocation, and key business decisions
- Own financial planning, forecasting, and board/investor reporting
- Drive strategic analysis on partnerships, pricing, market opportunities, and M&A
- Lead and develop a small finance team
- Push into adjacent areas such as data, growth analytics, and market analysis
- Build analytical foundations to understand unit economics, cohort performance, and growth drivers
