About the Role
You will oversee the finance function across Brazil the United States and the Cayman Islands. You will manage multi currency treasury including cash custody exposure policy and hedging, lead FP&A with budgeting and forecasting, handle regulatory reporting, oversee accounting and tax across three entities (Brazil USA Cayman), prepare fundraising materials and investor relations in partnership with the CEO, structure funding for credit products, and lead and develop the finance team.
Requirements
- Senior experience in regulated fintech payment institutions banks or crypto companies with interaction with BACEN
- Experience with fundraising (Seed and Series A B) or M&A including modeling data rooms and due diligence
- Excel and Sheets proficiency with SQL as a strong plus
- Fluent English
- Proven resilience with real examples from challenging quarters and willingness to provide references
- Genuine conviction in Bitcoin as money and willingness to receive BTC as part of compensation
Responsibilities
- Manage multi currency treasury across BRL BTC USDT including cash custody exposure policy and hedging
- Lead FP&A with budgeting forecasting variance analysis and unit economics metrics for the board
- Oversee regulatory finance including minimum capital reporting to the BCB and interface with auditors and the legal compliance team
- Manage accounting and tax across Brazil USA Cayman in partnership with specialized advisers
- Prepare fundraising materials and manage investor relations in close partnership with the CEO
- Structure funding for credit products
- Lead and develop the finance team
