About the Role
You will own the product vision and roadmap for the exchange layer, including the matching engine, core infrastructure, third-party custody, algorithmic engine, and API engine. You will lead product managers, consolidate matching engines, define platform success metrics, coordinate migrations with engineering, and align product, risk, compliance, and engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience as a senior product leader in exchange, trading, or high-performance platforms
- Experience managing and developing product managers
- Ability to own roadmaps and write specifications
- Ability to set product vision and translate it into a long-term roadmap
- Understanding of matching-engine and market-data architecture
- Understanding of low-latency tradeoffs
- Experience building platforms for internal customers
- Communication skills for influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for crypto markets and market structure
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and roadmap for the exchange layer
- Lead and grow a team of product managers
- Consolidate multiple matching engines into one exchange stack
- Build interface-agnostic platform capabilities
- Define and track latency, throughput, uptime, and resiliency metrics
- Partner with engineering leaders to sequence migrations without disrupting live markets
- Partner with Risk and Credit Infrastructure to support unified client accounts
- Anticipate industry shifts and evolve the platform
- Align product, engineering, risk, and compliance teams around the exchange strategy
