About the Role
You establish and lead the Detection and Response team, manage incident response operations, evaluate program effectiveness, mentor analysts and engineers, oversee Fraud Operations and Red Team activities, partner with senior leadership on security risks, and track program metrics.
Requirements
- 8-14 years of detection and response or security engineering experience
- Strong technical background in security or detection engineering
- Experience with SIEMs, EDR, and SOC operations
- Experience managing security analysts and engineers
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships
- High-empathy communication skills
- AI skillset applicable to security operations
- Experience at a fintech or high-technology organization
- Fraud investigation or software engineering background
Responsibilities
- Form and establish the Detection and Response team
- Define team culture and operational standards
- Lead incident response operations
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the detection and response program
- Manage and mentor analysts and engineers
- Oversee Fraud Operations and Red Team activities
- Partner with the CISO, CTO, COO, and engineering leaders
