About the Role
You will hunt threats, analyze and respond to incidents, and establish protective measures. You will use threat intelligence and SIEM to improve detection, handle second-line SOC investigations and on-call responses, and build and operate incident-response processes and platforms across servers, clients, networks, databases, operating systems, and applications.
Requirements
- Incident analysis and response skills
- Understanding of Windows, Linux, networks, databases, and AWS
- Ability to establish protective measures after attack analysis
- Ability to establish SOC detection policies
- Proficiency with Splunk
- Ability to establish detection policies after attack analysis
- Ability to develop work-automation solutions
- Experience responding to threats using threat intelligence
- Experience developing work-automation solutions
- Practical experience applying the MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience responding to incidents in cloud-based and on-premises services
Responsibilities
- Conduct threat hunting and establish and apply protective measures
- Identify, analyze, and respond to threats
- Analyze threats and respond using threat intelligence
- Establish and improve SIEM-based threat detection methods
- Perform second-line SOC investigations and responses
- Respond to threats during on-call hours outside regular work
- Build and operate incident-response processes and platforms for servers, clients, networks, databases, operating systems, and applications
