About the Role

You will lead and scale the entire design organization at Tangem, shaping how design strategy comes together across Product, Brand, Marketing, and Communications. You'll build and mentor a multidisciplinary team of UX/UI, Product, Graphic, Motion, and Brand designers, while creating scalable processes and quality standards that keep everything consistent across digital and physical touchpoints. You'll juggle priorities across product, marketing, and business needs, and work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business Development to keep everyone aligned. From websites and social creatives to print materials, packaging, merchandise, and exhibition booths, you'll oversee it all, while also introducing AI-powered tools to make the whole team more efficient. You'll also own design KPIs, hiring, career growth, and performance management, building a culture centered on ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional design experience, including several years leading multidisciplinary design teams
  • Experience managing designers across multiple disciplines, not only UX/UI, but also graphic, brand, marketing, and motion design
  • Strong understanding of both digital and physical design production, including print, merchandise, packaging, exhibition materials, and marketing assets
  • Experience organizing design operations in a fast-growing company with multiple parallel streams of work
  • Proven ability to build and optimize design processes, planning, prioritization, and resource allocation
  • Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and executive stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of design systems, brand systems, and cross-platform consistency
  • Experience with AI-powered creative tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Adobe Firefly, Figma AI, or similar) and the ability to integrate them into design workflows
  • Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and organizational skills
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the overall design strategy across Product, Brand, Marketing, and Communications
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of designers, including UX/UI, Product, Graphic, Motion, and Brand designers
  • Build scalable design processes, workflows, and quality standards across multiple design disciplines
  • Balance resources and priorities across product development, marketing initiatives, and business needs
  • Ensure consistency of the brand and user experience across all digital and physical touchpoints
  • Drive collaboration between Design, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, and external vendors
  • Oversee the production of product UX/UI, marketing websites and landing pages, social media creatives, digital advertising and banner campaigns, print materials and packaging, merchandise, exhibition booths and event branding, presentations and sales materials, motion graphics and promotional videos
  • Introduce and scale AI-powered tools and workflows to improve design efficiency and creative output
  • Define design KPIs, planning, hiring, career development, and performance management for the design team
  • Build a culture of ownership, quality, experimentation, and continuous improvement
