About the Role
You will serve as the senior regional compliance authority and manage relationships with regulators. You will lead compliance professionals, implement compliant policies and controls, oversee reviews and investigations, submit regulatory reports, and advise stakeholders on regulatory requirements across LATAM.

Responsibilities
- Lead regulatory relationships across LATAM jurisdictions
- Engage regulators on inspections, inquiries, and regulatory positioning
- Lead and develop MLROs and compliance professionals
- Embed compliance requirements into strategic decisions and product launches
- Implement compliance policies, procedures, controls, and frameworks
- Adapt policies and procedures for local markets
- Identify compliance gaps and recommend remediation
- Monitor regional laws, regulations, and policies
- Supervise compliance reviews, investigations, and suspicious activities
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to local authorities
- Coordinate with local regulators and auditors
- Track regulatory developments in the crypto industry
