About the Role
You will design and build scalable test stations for robotic sub-assemblies. You will develop electromechanical systems, integrate sensors, motors, and controllers, create schematics and wiring documentation, perform testing and data analysis, investigate integration issues, and qualify test stations.
Requirements
- Portfolio or website showcasing relevant projects and your role
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related engineering with at least two years completed
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and testing mechanical or electromechanical prototypes
- Familiarity with Git
- Programming familiarity with Python, C++, C, or MATLAB
- Hardware project experience from concept to reality
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable test stations for functional, performance, and reliability testing
- Develop mechanical and electrical systems using DAQ, communication modules, actuators, and sensors
- Integrate sensors, motors, and controllers into electromechanical systems
- Generate electrical schematics and wiring documentation
- Collaborate on hands-on testing, data analysis, and design improvements
- Contribute to root-cause analysis and resolution of hardware-software integration issues
- Conduct test-station bring-up and qualification
- Improve test setups to meet testing and data-capture requirements
