About the Role

You will own the full growth funnel for Africa, from acquiring crypto users through P2P channels to activating, retaining, and reactivating traders. You will develop P2P merchant liquidity, optimise payment corridors, run local acquisition and community campaigns, and create lifecycle programmes across push, in-app, email, SMS, Telegram, and WhatsApp. You will use segmentation, cohort analysis, dashboards, and A/B testing to improve conversion, trading activity, retention, and revenue. You will also translate insights into recommendations for stakeholders and product-roadmap input while working with Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Business Development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, user acquisition, or lifecycle marketing.
• Hands-on understanding of P2P crypto trading mechanics, including orderbooks, spreads, merchant dynamics, and payment corridors in Africa.
• Track record of growing a crypto or fintech user base across acquisition, activation, and retention.
• Experience with CRM and lifecycle tools such as Braze, CleverTap, or OneSignal.
• Experience with Tableau, Looker, or Metabase and cohort and funnel analysis.
• Familiarity with Pakistan's digital payments landscape, including EasyPaisa, JazzCash, Raast, and local banking rails.
• Experience managing Telegram, WhatsApp, or Discord community channels for crypto growth.
• Written and verbal communication in Urdu and English.
• Understanding of crypto regulation in Africa and compliance constraints in growth campaigns.
• Experience at a Tier-1 or Tier-2 centralised exchange with P2P functionality preferred.
• Familiarity with Dune, Nansen, or Glassnode preferred.
• SQL proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end P2P growth strategy for Africa.
• Recruit and manage anchor P2P merchants and high-volume traders.
• Identify payment-corridor gaps and optimise supported payment methods.
• Monitor P2P spreads and competitor pricing.
• Drive P2P orderbook volume through merchant incentives, rebates, and promotions.
• Develop and execute localised digital acquisition campaigns.
• Grow and activate Telegram, WhatsApp, and local crypto communities.
• Build partnerships with local influencers, educators, and crypto creators.
• Design referral and invite programmes.
• Improve registration, KYC, first-deposit, and first-trade conversion.
• Design activation sequences across push, in-app, email, and SMS channels.
• Develop trading incentive programmes and competitions.
• Segment deposited but inactive users and create conversion nudges.
• Identify and remove friction from onboarding, KYC, deposits, and first orders.
• Build retention programmes using lifecycle cohort analysis.
• Own CRM campaigns segmented by trading behaviour.
• Design loyalty programmes, trading streaks, milestone badges, and VIP benefits.
• Run A/B tests on messaging, timing, offers, and channel mix.
• Build reactivation programmes for lapsed users.
• Design win-back campaigns and time-limited reactivation offers.
• Own weekly and monthly growth reporting.
• Conduct cohort and funnel analysis.
• Translate insights into recommendations and product roadmap input.
• Maintain a hypothesis-driven experimentation backlog.
