About the Role
The role manages group-level financial information, accounting and consolidation, regulatory reporting, and the company’s market, operational, credit, counterparty, and liquidity risk framework.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is an asset
- Minimum 5 years of experience in audit or finance
- Deep knowledge of Swiss FINMA regulatory requirements and Swiss GAAP financial reporting standards
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and capital adequacy rules
- Exposure to digital assets or blockchain-based financial products is an asset
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Fluency in English and French
Responsibilities
- Manage financial accounting and reporting, including bookkeeping for client accounts
- Manage management accounting and monitor performance
- Own group consolidation across all subsidiaries
- Coordinate elimination of intragroup transactions
- Liaise with external auditors on consolidation and statutory accounts
- Manage regulatory reporting for capital adequacy, risk repartition, liquidity rules, and FINMA/SNB statistics
- Monitor market, operational, credit, counterparty, and liquidity risks
- Perform risk controls and market surveillance controls
- Perform due diligence on correspondent banks, trading venues, and digital assets
- Lead and present the risk control self-assessment process
- Improve and implement the operational risk framework
- Coordinate ISAE audits
- Define and execute thematic risk reviews
