About the Role
You will establish and operate a security assurance capability. You will design risk-based methodologies, test security controls, report evidence-based findings, track remediation, support certifications and customer assessments, and automate evidence collection to enable continuous assurance.
Requirements
- Experience designing, building, or operating security assurance or controls assurance in modern technology environments
- Understanding of security controls and evaluation of design and operating effectiveness
- Experience in cloud-native, SaaS-heavy environments
- Experience developing assurance methodologies, performing control testing, and communicating outcomes
- Ability to independently challenge controls while collaborating with teams
- Stakeholder communication and influence skills
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and improve the security assurance capability
- Develop risk-based assurance methodologies, testing approaches, assurance plans, and reporting
- Validate the design and operating effectiveness of security controls
- Produce evidence-based control assessments and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Track assurance findings through remediation and validate issue resolution
- Support external assessments, certifications, and customer assurance activities
- Automate evidence collection with the Security Analytics Engineer
- Develop repeatable, data-driven testing methodologies
- Improve security-control design, measurability, and assurance
