About the Role
You will work closely with the Senior Product Designer and cross-functional teams to design the iOS app and web platform. You will create wireframes, UI designs and interactive prototypes in Figma, participate in design critiques, maintain and evolve the design system, perform design QA with engineers, and iterate on designs based on feedback while developing your craft through mentorship.
Requirements
- Portfolio showcasing product, UX, or design work
- Degree or equivalent experience in Product Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design or related field
- Experience creating wireframes, UI designs and interactive prototypes in Figma
- Solid understanding of UX principles and user-centred design
- Ability to communicate design ideas and explain design decisions
- Strong attention to detail and high quality visual design execution
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating on designs
- Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and develop as a product designer
- Internship, placement year, or freelance experience in product or digital design (nice to have)
- Basic understanding of front-end development concepts such as responsive design and components (nice to have)
- Experience contributing to or working with a design system (nice to have)
- Interest in fintech or blockchain products (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive web and mobile experiences
- Support product development for tokenized asset issuance, trading and management
- Clarify ambiguous problem spaces through product thinking and strong design craft
- Participate in design critiques and give and receive feedback
- Maintain and evolve the design system
- Perform design QA with engineers to ensure accurate implementation
- Learn and grow through mentorship from senior designers and product managers
